Autism Spectrum Disorders:

Srinivasan & Bhat (2013) review music and movement therapies for children with ASD.

Hardy and LaGasse (hey, that’s me) propose music for movement in ASD based on the rehab model and neuroscience research in ASD.

Adult Rehab:

Amengual et al. (2013) show evidence of sensorimotor plasticity following music-supported therapy for individuals with stroke.

Villeneuve & Lamontagne (2013) report case studies on using piano playing for upper extremity movements in individuals that had stroke:

Adult Psyh:

Carr et al. (2013) completed a systematic review on music therapy for patients in acute psych. Overall results indicated that there is no single identified model in music therapy for this population.

Lastly, Music therapy for chronic tinnitus was explored with positive results by Grapp et al. (2013).
